So, any of you who has played the previous versions of this game, this is the final, and not my game. SubZero at Robotropolis created this, and changed some cheats around.
Here's part of what he posted ...
Quote:
Nevermind. Anyways, I'm sure that more than a few of you are familiar with Megaman 21XX, the often heralded as the best X fangame of all time created by Arne Strout of stroutsink.com, and more recently quit by him.

The game was just short of being finished when he stopped working on it, and although other ultimately futile projects like MM21XX:ME sprang up, they were quickly stopped short as doing so would probably consume even more time than the 7-8 year project had originally been around for.

The main concern was trying to wade through the nightmarishly unorginized source code of Arne's game. Finally, i decided to do just that and at long last(With Arne's permission and some coding help from The Music Guy at alpthois.net) have finished MM21XX for good, based on Arne's original storyline.

Here are the final changes that have been made:

Source code changes made by me:
-You now can actually get every single character on both teams.
-Each of the getting new character sequences now plays that character's theme music.
-There are other, more surprising changes to the new character cinemas... Especially on X's team.
-I removed the test mode and the F12 trigger that played the midgame cinema after beating all the normal bosses.
-All bosses now have custom intro sequences.
-The stage select text has all been modified to actually reflect what is going on in the stage rather than the boss.
-The final boss(Although to be fair, most everyone knows who it is) now has a different theme for his second form, as well as cinemas for both his first form death and his last form death.
-I modified credit times and added the much needed ending and epilogue as well(Which, if you have trouble reading scrolling text, you can slow down by going into options and reducing the speed right after Sigma explodes).
-VS mode, has become a code triggered mode(But you might just find it out somewhere while playing )
-Unfortunately LINX, splitscreen is still in effect as changing it would cause many more problems than it solved at this point.
-Several other minor corrections and cinema triggers were made/modified.

Source code changes made by The Music Guy:
-The refill health cheat has been changed.
-All twelve screen modes are now accesable with the F3 key.
-A new custom camera was implemented by The Music Guy, one that plays exactly like a normal Megaman X game.
-Several other minor modifications.

Music changes:
-Ocelot's level has been changed
-Vile's level has been changed
-The intro cinema music and level has been changed
-The midgame cinema music has been changed
-Both of the Final boss' themes have been modified
-The Final level music has been changed
-The end credits now feature what i believe to be the best Megaman ending credits ever(The original credits theme has been moved to the ending sequence).

Level Changes:
-Gemini Man's level has been changed with the help of some tiles of Omega Zero's
-Storm Eagle's stage is now teh b3st l3v3l EVAR!
-Ocelot's stage has been changed
-Vile's level has been changed
-The final boss' level has been changed
-Minor alterations have been made to Fire Beast, Radioactive Roach, Vance, Elen Kreed, and Hard Man's stages respectfully.

Menu changes:
-Pretty much all of the character select pics and some of the cinema pics have been updated.
-Yes, I know Rizzit has some creepy eyes.
-The title and Capcom logo's have been changed.
-Fox's stuff has of course been added in.
-There are also several other minor alterations for you to discover yourselves.

Character changes:
-Erm... No Dantrag, here's Fox?

Sprite changes:
-Sniper joe has been changed
-The evil metools, along with getting an HP boost, have been changed into... Well, its a surprise.
-Both of the Final boss' forms have been changed for the better.
-The Oracle sprites have been changed for another little surprise.

Story changes(Warning, this section does contain spoilers):
Like I said, the story is based upon Arne's orignal one for MM21XX. However, in the intrests of concrete plot structure and credibility I had to make some modifications.
-Tokmagon dies in a different way than intended(Originally he died when the Death Rogumer he was on was shot down). To make his motives for and his mistake of resurecting Sigma clear it was essential that I made this change. That and the fact that levelwise, it just couldn't be implemented that way without another stage. This way also adds to alot of the last level tension.
-Vance and Damon are brothers. Although this wasn't specifically stated before, they are both Calri royalty, so it makes since.
-Tosh, originally just a random Calri, is now the ruler of Zion. This was done in order to give Tokmagon a very specific enemy to set himself against, even though Tosh is only talked about offscreen. He is also now Vance and Damon's father.
-All the characters from the original megaman series have been subtley toned down in their involvment, as well as their dissapearance at the end to maintain canonbility(Is that even a word?).

And here's the Link:

You will also need to put this file named MSVCRTD.DLL in your C:/WINDOWS/System Directory. Enjoy!!!

Manual!!!
Please READ THE MANUAL BEFORE ASKING!!!!

old version got an 8/10, simply because I couldn't get all the way through. this one is sure to get a perfect score!!!

Well... It's kinda surprising to find this here. O_o

Being the creator of this version, I suppose I should pop in with a few additions to what YinYang said. The first being that Dantrag was not changed to Fox, but rather a character known as Radune.

Also... It has come to my attention that there is a completely unintentional glitch that occurs much the same way a beneficial secret occurs in Rockman World 4. I won't say more than that, other than it involves your life meter.

I might drop off the cheats here as well, once a few more people have downloaded this.

It's been a long time since a last played this. I can't remember where some stuff is at. I have the stellar armor and 3 parts of the other one (forget the name). Can't remember where that last one is.

Also, isn't there a supercharger or something hidden somewhere? I missed a few versions so I have no idea if it was taken out or not.

I don't need any specifics. Which levels these are in are all I really need.

It doesn't work for me, even after downloading and placing the extra file.
When opening the setup.exe, it mentions an error opening setup.dat

Ignore Setup.dat. Just extract all files to a single folder and double-click on the MM21XX Final executable. Control/Screen/Joystick/Sound setup can all be done in the options menu.

Spoiler:

The Superchargers can be found in the Amazon stage and the factory stage.

Yes. I remember the last version of this posted here and managed to get both stellar and Hikage-Ryu armor, but with Gemini man's stage getting destroyed I have no Idea where the piece of armor that was in his stage has gone.
To access all the characters with out unlocking them:
You must be in multiplayer. highlight the spot where the character you want to use is, then have some one click on an unlocked character.

Do all of zero's weapons use now?

Not until you try this ...

Set up all 4 player's controls to be EXACTLY the same, and play the game with 4 players, and when it loads, move them all until they all go together as one, then murder the enemies!!!

That's cheating YinYang. ^_^

I find the game is the most hard when you are trying to play through as Zero(Since the way you gather characters pairs you up with the impossibly hard Dermal without his weakness weapon). Since Dermal is so impossible to beat normally, I might as well tell you his weakness: If you use a fully charged blast of radioactive roach's weapon on Dermal's crystal, he'll die with a single hit.

X is much more easy to play as, especially since his X attack allows him to drop mines that do insane damage to bosses.

Zero's mode is frustrating only because he can't use boss attacks properly.

He learns saber techniques that don't use up any energy. If you want a character who uses boss weapons normally, just beat the required stage for Rizzit, who has laser claws as an added bonus. ^_^

Or when you use X's stellar armor's blade's butt. That really does some damage!!!

Is there suppose to be any music in this game? Because I can hear sounds effects, but no music scores.

Otherwise, there are a few things that make it bit more buggy than the SNES X games, but others, not a bad game (only beaten the first area so far. Those missle bots shoot missiles too fast. XP).

Try setting the music volume in the options menu, and if that doesn't work check your own sound settings to see if any volume meter is turned down or muted.

Still can't find that last piece of Hikage-Ryu armor. I need to know exactly which stages have them. I'd be more specific, but I keep forgetting which ones i got. -_-

Also, I couldn't find the second supercharger. It's supposed to be on the platform above the acid waterfall area right?

Yeah, I can't find the last one too, but someone emailed me the savegames, but the only thing I don't like is the controls. I'll show my controls ...
P1:
Up: W
Down: S
Left: A
Right: D
Fire: J
Jump: K
Dash: L
Second Atk.: I
Weapon Lft.: U
Weapon Rgt.: O

P2: Joystick

P3:
Up: Arrow Up
Down: Arrow Down
Left: Arrow Left
Right: Arrow Right
Fire: NUMPAD 1
Jump: NUMPAD 2
Dash: NUMPAD 3
Second Atk.: NUMPAD 5
Weapon Lft.: NUMPAD 4
Weapon Rgt.: NUMPAD 6

The thing I hate about P1 and P3 is that one of them can't charge while the other is wall jumping. My brother charged and I was air dashing and then I stopped and couldn't go any longer. That is what I hated about it.
Super chargers:
Hardman: When you get to the top after you wall jump on that big wall, hover or dash all the way to your left to see it.
Slashman: When you start the level, go down into the cave and go right. When you get outside, go up the wall and hover or air dash to the right. Run all the way to the right and you will hear a beep (like you started a level) and that tells you that you got it.
Controls are completely customizable YinYang. There's even joystick support. How can the controls be bad?

You might want to try Dragoid's stage. There's a hidden capsule in an underwater cave.

2nd that.

@ YinYan: I suppose thats your keyboard fault. Cheaper Keyboard have problems reading more then 3 or 4 Buttons at once, which means 2 players at one keyboard can allready be too much. Since the controlls are customizeable, I suggest that you should use 2 joysticks.

Sure, but my other joysticks won't work with XP.

Is there somewhere to go for a walk through? I can't find the armor pieces in Gemini man's stage, or Storm Eagles.

There is no walkthrough.

Gemini stage hint: Don't trust signs telling you not to go somewhere without looking ahead for yourself.

Storm Eagle: There's a ventalation system that runs underneath the elevators... And not all of the gratings over them are intact.

That walkthrough is severely out of date, YinYang. And since this version has completely new Gemini man and Storm Eagle levels, among many other changes, it would be almost useless for what he asked.

But still, I should rephrase. There is no ACCURATE walkthrough.

Got it! Storm Eagle was the one I was missing.

I forgot how ugly the Hikage Ryu armor was. Does it actually do anything besides look like crap?

Thanks anyway! ^_^;
